The memory of James Manning Messem of Port Williams, Nova Scotia, born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 18, 2024, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Messem and Ethel Messem (Grant); his siblings, Audrey Griffin, Sharon Hubley and David; his half-sister Shirley LaChance; his nephew Christopher Arenburg; and his niece Karen Messem.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" (Sawler); his children, Laura Walsh (Robert), Kim Mason (Mike) and Michael Messem (Brandy); his grandchildren, Owen Caborn, Alexandra Messem, Tyra, Keana Walsh, Kate and Zack Mason; his sister Ruth Arenburg; and his pet Bailey.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Port Williams (1045 NS-358, Port Williams, NS B0P1T0).
