Gladys Marie Turbitt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Marie Turbitt of Port Williams, Nova Scotia, born in New Ross, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sweet and Jennie Sweet (McDow); her husband Raymond E. Turbitt; her children, Ronald, Diane and Junie; her brother Vincent; and her grandchildren, Debbie and Luke.

She is survived by: her children, Ed (Marjorie) and Joan Port Williams (David); her sister Rose; and her grandchildren, James Sweet (Cathy) of British Columbia, Aldersville of British Columbia, Cindy Misner (Barry) of British Columbia, Robert Sweet (Bonny) of British Columbia, Jim Turbitt (Sheila) of British Columbia, Michael O'Rafferty of British Columbia, Danny Brewster (Rose) of British Columbia, Fern Wellicome (Dave) of British Columbia, Chris Nygard of British Columbia, Sheila LeBlanc (Lloyd), Bev (Dave), Gaspereau Mtn and Tracey Yarmouth (Rick). She is also survived by eleven great- grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
