She was predeceased by: her parents, James Murphy and Beatrice Murphy (Sharpe); her cousin Ruth Brann; her daughter Debbie Landry; her brother Harold Murphy (Butch); her parents-in-law, John and Katie Napier; her stepmother Sadie Napier; and also James Napier (Jimmy).

She is survived by: her cousins, Donna Buchanan and Marguerite MacKillop; her daughters, Jean Kelloway, Catherine O'Neil, Heather Napier (Kirk) and Norma Napier (Derrick); her grandchildren, James Kelloway (Rhonda), Michael Kelloway (Holly), Ian Landry (Lacey), Courtney Landry (Adam) and Anthony Napier; her great grandchildren, Nathan McInnis (Emily), Keegan Axworthy, Sadie, Ethan Landry, Madilynn and Lucy Kelloway; her godchildren, Heather Hunt, Tony Barrett, Bobby Barrett and Lee Snow; her siblings, Kent Murphy (Joan), Robert Murphy (Margo) and Dorothy Gouthro (Irvin); her sisters-in-law, Torrey Murphy and Christine Hickey (Napier); and her sons-in-law, Arthur Kelloway, Donnie Teasdale John O'Neil and Ron MacDonald. She is also survived by numerous cousins, niece's, nephew's and grand and great niece.

Donations may be made to the An Cala Unit, Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
