She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mullen and Emily Mullen (Allen); her husband Garnet; her son Bernie; and her siblings, Russell, Chester, Rita and Audrey.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Pettipas-Roberts (Dwayne) and Russell Pettipas (Darlene); and her grandchildren, Courteney (Beth Ells), Mark (Llaesa) and Matthew (Tori). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
