Charles Atwood Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Atwood (Port Maitland, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 18, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Ernest Atwood; his wife Barbara; his son-in-law Joey; his siblings, Margorie Brannen, Ernest, Curtis and David; and his great grandchild Ashton Goodwin.

He is survived by: his parent Georgina Atwood (Stewart); his children, Barbara Ann Surette (Joey) of Yarmouth, Susan Goodwin (Larry) of Yarmouth, Charles Atwood Jr. (Cindy) of Yarmouth, Kathy Bishara (Tom) of Yarmouth, Debbie Landers (Peter), Halifax, Tim Atwood (Genevieve) and Ottawa; and his sister Lois Gordon (George). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Tri County VON or the Riverside Cemetery.
