Dorothy L. Dixon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy L. Dixon (Port Howe, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 28, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander MacKay and Mary MacKay (Dickie); her husband Ray; and her siblings, George, Mildred Dixon, Amy MacKay and Marjorie Alderman.

She is survived by: her daughter Genelle Handy (Bill) of Alliston, ON; her grandchildren, Patti Handy of Barrie, ON, Angela Shtohryn (Paul), Missouri and Tarra Handy of Alliston, ON; her great grandchildren, Emma, Alaina, Jace, Matthew, Kessa, Dylan, Jonathan and Olivia; her sister Shirley Fortier (John) of Port Howe, NS; her brother-in-law Bill Aldermam; and her friends, Mark Stevens and Bill Marshall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
