It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tommy Batherson (Port Hood, Nova Scotia), born in Inverness, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 16, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Batherson and Margaret Batherson (Gillis); his former wife Marlene Batherson (MacMillan); his brothers, Donald Anthony, Archie and George; and his siblings-in-law, Gerard MacDonell, Alex Duncan MacDonell, John R. Gillis, John MacDonald and Dollie Burrell (MacMillan).

He is survived by: his wives, Marlene and Jenny Batherson (MacDonell); his daughters, Kristi Batherson, Prairie, Alta and Sandy Batherson-Campbell; his son-in-law Ian Campbell; his siblings, Ian (Helen), Pat (Margo), Gerry (Marion), Martin (Dougelda), Rita (Robert), Pauline (Ernest) and Anne; his sisters-in-law, Anne, Marguerite, Annie Margaret, Jessie Mae, Mary and Sandra; and also, Tommy, Lucas, John, Lily Gabriella Valleyview and Alta.
