She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Ann (Campbell) and Alex Angus MacDonald; her husband Colin A. MacDonell; her brothers, Donald, John Dan and Francis; her cousin Isabelle Campbell; and her nephews, Dwayne Beaton and Glen MacDonald.
She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen O'Connor (Glen) of Port Hood and Lisa Taylor (Shawn) of Lower Sackville; her sisters, Annie Mae MacDonald (Donnie) of Port Hood and Jessie Beaton (late Angus) of Mabou; and her sisters-in-law, Marion MacLeod (Malcolm) of Mabou Ridge and Annie Mae MacDonell of Port Hood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Cassie's memory to the St. Peter's Parish Cemetery Fund, Port Hood, or Central Inverness Palliative Care.
