She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Kennedy (Kawaja) and Reginald Kennedy of Port Hawkesbury; her siblings-in-law, John Beaton, Pauline (Buddy MacDonald) and Buddy MacMaster; and her nephew Mark MacDonald.
She is survived by: her daughter Lois Beaton McNamara (Danny); her grandson Hugh Alexander (Lauren Vassallo); her siblings, Robert Kennedy (Elva), Johnny K. Kennedy (Anne), Rose Marie Walsh (Grant) and Isabelle Anne Decoste (Stuart); and her sister-in-law Marie MacMaster (late Buddy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
