With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Annabelle Pond of Port Hood, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 22, 2022 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Esther Annabelle Pond to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sarah Phail (Harris) and Norman Mac Phail; her husband John T. Pond; her son Jackie; her great grandchildren, Joel and Jacob; and her siblings, Harris, Elizabeth Campbell (John), Hilton (Marion) and Parker (Aggie).

She is survived by : her children, Patricia of Port Hood, George (Bev) of Port Hood, Norma MacIntyre (late Terrance) of Port Hood, Harold (Caddy) of Port Hood, Clifford of Port Hood and Kent of Brackley, PEI.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the Angus L. Mac Donald Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #132, Inverness or to the Alzheimer's Association of Nova Scotia.
