She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis A. MacNeil and Isabel C. MacNeil (MacIntyre); her siblings, Kathy Bunyan, John Francis and Gary MacDonald; her niece Carly Bunyan; and her nephew Eugene Ryan.
She is survived by: her close friend Gillis Cloake; her children, Meghann Strachan and Patrick Strachan (Stephanie Vanegas); her grandchildren, Eiledh, Camden and Ruby Viola; her siblings, Bernadette MacNeil, Barbara MacKinnon (Harvey), Elizabeth Johnston (Brian), Carl MacNeil (Cathy) and Barry MacNeil (Carol); her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Mac Donald and John Bunyan; her aunts and uncles, Kathleen Gillis, Doris MacNeil, Irvin and Harold MacIntyre; and also, Fran and Stephanie.
