It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Phillips of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, born in Inverness, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Hinkley and Marion Hinkley; her children, Lydia Reynolds (John) of Moncton, NB, Charlie Phillips (Catherine) of Lloydminster, AB, Hank Phillips (Wendy) of Dartmouth, NS, David Phillips (Kim) of Port Hawkesbury, NS, Kimberly Phillips of Dartmouth, NS, Norma Snow (Travis) of Mulgrave, NS and Dawn Bodhaine (Butch) of Reserve Mines, NS; her siblings, Geraldine Kennedy of Port Hawkesbury, NS, Sadie MacLeod (Peter), Juanita Ross of Inverness, NS and Joseph (Margaret); her daughter Joyce; her granddaughter Shelby; and her sister Doreen. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home or to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
