It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Joan MacRae (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman MacLean and Catherine MacLean; her son Greg; and her sisters, Norma Bernard and Philene MacRitchie.

She is survived by: her husband Angus MacRae; her son Richard; her granddaughters, Sophia and Sadie; her daughter-in-law Audrey MacRae; and her siblings, Mary Ross (River Denys) and Donald (Lillian MacLean).
