Russell MacAskill Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell MacAskill in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. G. Mac Askill and Dolena MacAskill (Mac Donald); his stepmother Flora; and his sisters, Tena and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie (Mac Leod); his children, David Port Hawkesbury and Dolena Upper Tantallon (Doug); his grandchildren, Erin and Keltie; and his siblings, Gordon and Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
