Ruby Voerman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Voerman (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 25, 2018, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lute (Opa); her sons, Jacob and Teunis; and her brother Klaus. She is survived by: her parents, Gerrigje Mooiweer and Teunis Mooiweer; her children, Gerri MacDonald (Creignish) and Lute Voerman; and her daughters-in-law, Gardia (Middle Sackville) and Yvonne (Antigonish). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Oma's memory to the St. Andrew's United Church cemetery fund, Big Baddeck, or the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home.
