He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Sampson and Letoile Sampson (Parks); his sister June Steele; his brother-in-law Charles Unser; and his former wife Caroline (Sharpe).
He is survived by: his son Kevin Sampson (Melanie Landry); his grandchildren, Madison and Bailey Lukeman; his siblings, Nancy Unser, Peter Sampson (Michelle) and Tony Sampson (Heather); his brother-in-law Steele; and his wife Carol. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
