He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Fox (Davis) and John Robert Fox; and his sisters, Lois, Isabel and Beverley.

He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his children, Derrick (Loretta) and Michelle (Craig Hopkins); his grandchildren, Jessica, Allie and Stephen; and his brother Willam (Mary Anne). He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (724 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2N8). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. David's United Church (7 Old Victoria Rd, Port Hastings, NS B9A1L2). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:20 PM. A reception was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Port Hastings Fire Hall (15 Old Victoria Rd, Port Hastings, NS B9A1L2).
