It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raphael Gerard DeCoste of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel DeCoste (DeGruchy) and Raymond X. DeCoste; his wife Valerie; and his siblings, Melanie and Tony.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick (Rachelle King) of Mackenzie, BC and Amanda (Tommie McIntyre); his grandchildren, Emma, Ben and Danielle; and his siblings, Dianne Fitzpatrick (Eldon), Phyllis MacAskill (Allan), Gail Lukeman (Paul), Lower South River, Pearl Richardson (late Dave), Sherry Forrestall (John), Clifford (Millie), Kenny, Allister, Linden (Charlene) and Keith of Fletchers Lake, NS..
