With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa (Lisa) Gibson (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia), born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 57. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melissa (Lisa) Gibson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reg Lahey and Trudy Lahey (Miller); her parents-in-law, Earl and Mary; and her brother-in-law Georgie (Rena).
She is survived by: her husband Andrew (Gerry); her daughters, Nora and Jessica; her grandson Lucas; her siblings, Debbie, Rena, Reg and Shawn; and her parents-in-law, Noreen (George), Marie (Dan), Danny (Lena) and Billy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private memorial is being arranged for a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Lisa's legacy, donations may be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society.
