It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Evelyn Morel of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boudreau and Irene Boudreau (Marchand); her sister Jeanette Ryan; her parents-in-law, Cecile and Roger Morel; her siblings-in-law, Jules Morel, Rene Morel, Denis Morel, Roger Mailhot, Denise Mailhot and Clemence Garceau; and her niece Nadine Samson.

She is survived by: her children, Nicole (Paul) of Fort McMurray, Roger (Janet) of Port Hawkesbury and Michel (Crystal) of Port Hastings; her grandchildren, Stephen Fort McMurray (Jensine), Marcus, Kayla, Kaleb and Connor; her siblings, Linda Samson (Peter), Albany (Doris) of Louisdale, Gary (Annie) of Louisdale, Gerald Port Hawkesbury (Pauline) and Darren (Kathy) of Ontario; her nephews, Leo (Lisette) of Becancour and Andre (Louise); and her niece Louise (Gerard).

Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care, St. Louis Cemetery, or to the Glen Sampson Room.
