With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Elizabeth (MacDonald) Burke in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 9, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James MacDonald and Margaret MacDonald (Campbell); her husband John; her son Phillip; and her siblings, Rita, James, Jackie and Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Donna (Rob), B. C., Kevin (Gitte Hansen), Scarborough, Ont, Jean (Blair), N. S., Jim (Julie Warner), Lisa (Kevin) and Ottawa; her sister Eileen Sampson; and her siblings-in-law, Malcolm MacDonald, Anna MacDonald, Judith MacDonald and Reyonalda MacDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Red Islands Volunteer Fire Department.
