She was predeceased by: her parents, Delphin Roach and Nancy Roach (Bourgeois) of Cheticamp, NS; her son Joseph; her siblings, Marie Cecile Deveau, Theresa MacIntosh, Arthur, Paul, Thomas, Simon, Dominique and Charlie; her stepbrother Joseph; and also Elizabeth Odo (Lizzie).
She is survived by: her husband Alfred LeBlanc; her daughters, Lisa MacDonald (Craig) of Sherbrooke, NS and Michelle Nickerson (Randy) of Yarmouth, NS; her grandsons, Ryan MacDonald (Lauren) and Tanner Nickerson; her close friend Paulette Boudreau; and her siblings, Beatrice Poirier of Sydney, NS, Henry Joe Roach (Thelma) of Ottawa, ON and Marie Yvonne (Jim).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (724 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2N8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (138 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2G1). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:25 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (138 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2G1).
The family would like to recommend donations be directed to Palliative Care at Strait Richmond Hospital, St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery, any community food bank or a charity of your choice.
