He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Burton and Muriel Burton; his wife Janet Burton (Ryan); his grandson Charles Embree; and his sister Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Hibbert (Embree), Valerie (Russell), Richard and Michael; his siblings, Carl Jr. (Donna), Russell, Shirley (John), Billy (Patsy), Darlene (Donnie), Preston (Lori), Garfield (Kathy), Brian (Theresa) and Joan (late Eldred); and his grandchildren, Tyler (Embree), Kylie Kramer (Hinkley) and Jalissa Murry (Hinkley). He is also survived by 46 nieces and nephews; 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
