Julia Margaret MacQuarrie Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Margaret MacQuarrie of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan MacAskill and Florence MacAskill (MacQuarrie); her husband Donald MacQuarrie; and her daughter Karen Lynn. She is survived by: her sons, Blaine and Darryl (Marsha); her grandchildren, Drew (Cat), Taylor (Sheumais), Cailin (Brandon) and Colton; her great grandchildren, Daxson and Skylin; her siblings, Murdock MacAskill (Elizabeth) of Uxbridge, ON, Angus (Pauline) and Annie MacInnis; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy MacAskill, Ann MacAskill and Alex Hatcher; her siblings, Duncan John, Hughie, Dan, Jane Rogers, Florence Hatcher and Catherine Gray; her brothers-in-law, Eddie MacInnis, Edward, Milton MacQuarrie, Wes Gray and Jimmy Rogers Julia; and also Laurie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
