It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Stanley Forbrigger of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, born in Port Malcolm, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Nina Dorothy Forbrigger (O'Hearn); his wife Beryl Inez; his father William Forbrigger; and his siblings, Melvin Forbrigger, Pauline Ganshirt and Fran MacDonald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Boers (Ron) of Stellarton, NS, Laurie Bignall (David), Terri Forbrigger of Smithers, BC and Susan Forbrigger of Greenville, BC; his grandchildren, Carel Boers (Michelle), Shawn Boers, Mark MacKinnon (Minh-Tu), Amanda Howell (Trevor), Nicole Walker (Duncan) and Marie Ried (Wyatt Vanderhyden); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Nolan, Pietra, Silas, Sloan, Michael, Orion, Finn and Rhys; his siblings, Bob Forbrigger (Carmel), Ottawa Ont, Michael Forbrigger (Joan) of Port Hawkesbury, NS, Thelma Forbrigger of Port Hawkesbury, NS and Jeannette Rizzuto of Port Hawkesbury, NS; his sister-in-law Rena Forbrigger; and his close friends, Ron and Hope Knapman of Halifax, NS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
