He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Clara McNamara (Burke); his siblings, Anne Marie McNamara and Joseph "Joe" McNamara; and his nephews, John Wesley Walker and Devon Gilbert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Noel (Marilyn) of Grand Greve, Betty King (Walter) of Evanston, Alfred (Elizabeth) of Evanston, Sheila (Allan) of Rockingham, Dennis (Karen) of Evanston and Louis (Louise) of Sussex; and his sister-in-law Karen of Whiteside. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
