She was predeceased by: her parents, William Richard and Evangeline Richard (McPhee); her husband Foster Ryan; and her siblings, Henry, Raymond, Peter, Louis, Stella McCormack, Elizabeth MacDonald, Yvonne MacDonald and Cecilia MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica (Rose) of Pirate's Harbour, George (Helen) of Chapel Point, NB, Christopher (Doug), England and Gerard (Dale); her grandchildren, Brent (Christa), Darren (Suzanne), Heather (Jody), Brittany (Walker) and Eric (Meagan); and her great grandchildren, Georgia, Taylor, Kyle, Mia, Annie and Flora. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church (1470 Cape Jack Rd, Havre Boucher, NS B0H1P0).
Memorial donations in Jean's memory may be made to St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave.
