He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ehler and Mary Ehler; his siblings, Harvey, Michael, Ray, Clyde and Bernice Haywood; and his sisters-in-law, Majorie, Marilyn and Norma.
He is survived by: his siblings, Leon (Marie), Chester (Ada), Orn (Florence), Barry (Barbara), Rose Turvey (Colin) and Beverly Grady (Arnold); his siblings-in-law, Ray Haywood and Eileen Ehler; and his aunt Edna MacDonald. He is also survived by forty-five nieces and nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews.
