He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrick and Ella Mae Brophy (Jellow); his wife Theresa Elizabeth (Delorey); his son Michael Joseph; his brother Francis; and his brothers-in-law, Michael, MacKinnon (Jean), Don Williams (Anne) and Joe Miles (Mary).
He is survived by: his children, Ellarose (Allan Huard), Dorraine (Kevin MacEachern), Dundee, James (Tammy McKay) and Debra (Paul Forgeron); his grandchildren, Warren (Julie Drisdelle), Thea (Craig Power), Nicole (Jeff MacPhee), Katie, Jade, James Michael (Courtney Cameron), Daniel (Jennifer Henley), Hunter Chisholm (Kelly) and Hannah; his siblings, Jean, Anne, Mary and Vincent (Brenda) of Mulgrave; and also Ron Chisholm.
