She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Stewart and Jeanette Stewart (Shea); her husband Calvin Halfpenny (Cab); her son Russell James; her stepfather Gordon McCall; her siblings, Daniel Stewart and Yvonne Filipek; her siblings-in-law, Agnes Stewart, Evelyn Sample, Rudy Amirault, Joe Fenech, Bob Filipek, Doug Halfpenny, Seymour Halfpenny, Gordon Halfpenny and Everett Halfpenny; and her parents-in-law, Russell and Beatrice Halfpenny.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Drew (Cat MacIntyre), Taylor (Sheumais MacLeod), Blaine, Isabel and Laurie; her siblings, Joyce Amirault, Glenda Fenech, Bill Stewart (Monica), Neil Stewart (Betty), Russell Stewart (Jennifer) and Doug McCall (Tina); her brother-in-law Ira Halfpenny (Elizabeth); and her caregivers, Allison, Kyla, Rachael, Paula, Dr. Hanspal, Darlene MacIntyre and Michael Hatt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In 2020, during the pandemic, Isabel and Laurie started to collect sea glass, including some finds in Ireland and Scotland.
