She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Matthews and Ida Matthews (Lelacheur); her husband Philip Allen; her siblings, Harold, Bernard, Norman, Robert (Joan) and Catherine Matthews; her pet Rocky; her parents-in-law, Jean and Raymond Allen of Pugwash; and her brothers-in-law, Gary, Danny and Stephen Allen.
She is survived by: her daughter Catherine (Shawn McKenzie); her grandchildren, Carson and Raina McKenzie; her siblings, Wilbert (Anna), Hugh (Patty), Wayne (Melody), Perry (Christal), Maryann and Marilyn Matthews (Harvey); and her extended family, Peggy (David), Joe (Marion), Irving (Miriam) and Janice Fraser Allen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
