As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ian Kenneth may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald MacAskill and Margaret MacAskill (MacLeod); and his brother-in-law Bill Harnish. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Morrison); his sister Donna Harnish; his brother-in-law Roderick Morrison (Bertha); his nephew Darryl Morrison (Cori Ferguson); and his niece Keri Morrison (Gary Reynolds).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (724 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2N8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Black River United Church (1796 Black River Rd, West Bay, NS B0E3K0).
