We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2019, at the age of 85, Henrica Gertruda Rooyakkers (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Hoof and Johannes van Hoof; and her siblings, Toon van Hoof and Tiny van Hoof. She is survived by: her close friends, Anthony Rooyakkers (Toon) and Harry Goosens; her children, Martinus Rooyakkers (Donalda MacDonald), Katrina, Myles, Johannes Rooyakkers, Casondra Anika (Donald Wilson), Santana (Chad Rogers), Nicholas, Olivia, Adora, Blake, Danita Rooyakkers (Atilla Tolnai), Theodore Tolnai, Janos Tolnai, Maria Rooyakkers Daniel (David Hart), Avery Hart and Cora Hart; and her siblings, Truus van Hoof, Maria Verkaar, Jan van Hoof, Martein van Hoof and Toos Goosens of London.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made toward the St Mary's of the Angels Community Hall, St Martha's Palliative Care or a charity of choice.
