She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sampson and Alma Sampson (Richard); her husband Francis Burke of Sampsonville; her siblings, Mathilda (Leonard Leblanc) and Cedric Sampson; her stepmother Annie Kelly; and her stepsister Pat Plett.
She is survived by: her sons, Darin Sampson (Dawn) of Barrie, ON and Blaise Sampson (Debbie) of Sampsonville; her grandchildren, Wayne, Brittany (Jordan) of Sampsonville, Courtney and Ethan of Barrie, ON.; her siblings, Winnie Burke (Ignatius) of French Cove and Linus Sampson (Vi) of St. Peter's; her sister-in-law Yvonne Sampson of St. Peter's; and her stepchildren, Tony, Paul (Claire), Gloria, Jeannie and Sheila (Billy). She is also survived by 16 step grandchildren, 23 step great grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews and close friends.
Due to COVID a small family service will be held.
