He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meagher and Alice Meagher (Carr) of Mulgrave; and his siblings, Terrence (Rose), Gary (Adair), Kevin (Bobbie) and Moira.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Meagher (MacNeil); his sons, Stephen (Dee), Phillip and Dave (Kelly); his grandchildren, Stephen, Kathryn (Matthew), Kathleen (Zach) and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Meadow, Vera, Lane and Michael; his sister-in-law Averill Cogswell; and his sister Sharon Beals (Harold). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (138 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2G1).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home or to the SPCA.
