He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Scott; his parents, Gilbert Sampson and Cecile Sampson; and his siblings, Jeanette, Lillian, Zelia, Bert, Leo and Lawrence.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Dolores, Carolyn and Christopher.
