He was predeceased by: his parent George MacDonald; and his siblings, Paul (Anne), Mary Catherine and Mary Louise. He is survived by: his parent Marion MacDonald (MacKenzie); his wife Miriam (Grant); his children, Robert (Christine) of Nepean, ON, Margie MacMillan (Tim) of Port Hawkesbury and George (Julie) of St. John; his grandchildren, Teagan MacDonald, Tyson MacDonald, Kai MacMillan, Kameron MacMillan, Rhea, Grayson and Addison MacDonald; and his siblings, Margie Hamilton (Kevin Hill), Edward Hamilton (Anita), Francis Hamilton and Ollie Hamilton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated and may be made in George's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Society, or Port Hawkesbury Baptist Church.
