He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat MacIntyre and Estelle MacIntyre; his former wife Kaye MacIntyre (Townsend); his daughter Vesta Wadden; his stepmother Robina "Vinie" MacIntyre; and his siblings, Peter (Alice), Terry (Marilane), Clifford (Joan), Allan, Michael "Bud", Ray, Wayne, Diane and Irene "Bo".
He is survived by: his wife Jean MacIntyre (MacInnis); his daughter Kelly Campbell; his son-in-law Pat; his grandchildren, Daniel and Leah; his sister Maureen Bourgeois (Albert); and his siblings-in-law, Ivan Hamill of Mississauga, ON, Joan MacIntyre, Brenda MacIntyre, Adele Bates of Truro, NS and Sharon MacIntyre of Little Dover, NS.. He is also survived by 4 stepchildren, and 11 step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (724 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2N8). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (138 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2G1). A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:20 AM to 11:40 AM at the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery (138 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2G1). A reception was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Joseph Parish Hall (138 Granville St, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A2G1).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Martha Hospital Foundation Fund.
