It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Catherine Ross of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Collie Sandy and Katie Bell MacDonald (Cameron); her husband Calvin Ross; and her siblings, Tommy MacDonald, Hughie, Mary Siegfried and Peggy Jardine.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Kersten (Willy), Kingsville, Jody (Dina), Alberta, Kelly (Robert) and Lori Jean; her siblings, Hughena Brewer, John and Joe MacDonald (Irene); her sister-in-law Alice MacDonald; and her grandchildren, Mikayla, Calan, Bradley, Brogan Kersten, Gracie and Sadie Ross.
Donations in memory of Jeanette may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, The R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, St. Margaret's Church Cemetery Fund or a charity of one's choice.
