It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emmanuel James Mombourquette (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia), born in Lower l'Ardoise, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Mombourquette and Sarah Mombourquette (McGrath); his siblings-in-law, Thomas and Matilda Clannon; his siblings, Mary Pastorius, Mildred Briand, Catherine Mombourquette, Theresa McNeil, Margaret LaBelle and James Emmanuel; his brother-in-law Harry A. Sampson; and his close friends, Robert "Bobby" McGrath and Gerry McNeil.

He is survived by: his wife Marie (Clannon); his children, Gregory St (Deborah), Carolyn Lower L'Ardoise (Albert) and Gerard Point Michaud (Patricia); his grandson Andrew MacCuish (Kelsey); his siblings, Gladys Gracie of Lower L'Ardoise, Richmond Villa of Lower L'Ardoise, Thomas Mombourquette (Kay) of Lower L'Ardoise, Sally Anne Mombourquette of Lower L'Ardoise and Rita Mae Sampson of Lower L'Ardoise; and his friend John Mombourquette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
