He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Anne and Mary Anne (MacDonald); his wife Kay (MacMullin); and his siblings, Angus, John, Colin, Kaye MacEachen and Mary MacNeil.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila MacDonald (Charlie) and Jo; his grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica MacDonald, Maegen and Kayla MacLean; his brothers, Dougald (Florence), Roy and Alexander North Grant (Judy); and his cousin Mary MacDonald (Jimmy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Parish Cemetery or to the Port Hawkesbury Food Bank.
