She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Shears; and her parents, Tobias Purchase and Sarah Purchase. She is survived by: her son Paul Shears of Hureauville; her granddaughter Sheri Shears of Fort McMurray, AB; and her sister Gladys Jeffery of Toronto, ON. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
