She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold DeCoste and Louise DeCoste (MacNeil); her husband Augustine Connell (Gussie); her brother Harold DeCoste (Harry); her niece Kimberly DeCoste; and her nephew Glen DeCoste.
She is survived by: her siblings, Kevin DeCoste (Bonnie), Reggie DeCoste (Lisa), Sharon DeCoste, Brenda DeCoste (Dominic Tate), Lisa Proudfoot (Eric) and Shane DeCoste (Patricia); her great-aunt Bessie Fougere; her uncles, Ray and Carl DeCoste; her aunt Mary Georgina Beaton; her stepchildren, Karyn Connell (David MacDonald) of Centerville, NS, Vicky Locke (David), Woodstock, Raylene MacNamara (Wayne), Ingersoll, Cally Connell (Stephanie) and Angus; her grandchildren, Gavyn, Mikayla, Beau and Marlee; her siblings-in-law, Ray "Sanko" Connell (Joan), Evelyn Muise and Helena DeCoste; and her close friend Skippy. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews; 4 great grandnephews and 1 great niece.
Seating will be limited in the church and Covid-19 restrictions will be respected.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation or Bide Awhile Animal Shelter.
