He was predeceased by: his parents, Hughie Jim and Margaret MacIsaac of Troy; and his siblings, Hughie (Anne), Louise of Troy and Allan Joseph.

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his stepchildren, Tracy Marin (Martin), Darren Sangster (Anna) and Michelle Sangster (Blake); his grandchildren, Molly, Madi, Lili-Anne and Malcolm; his children, Gary, Stacy (Ray), Mount Uniacke, Peggy (Andrew) and Moira (Jose); his brother-in-law Glen (Debbie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonah, Maxden, Jayden, Julianna, Annalise and Rory; and also Peggy (Halifax).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
