She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Carter and Elizabeth Carter (Sampson); her husband Peter; her daughter Lesa; and her siblings, Anthony Carter (Margaret), Charlie Carter (Lila), George Carter (Genevieve), Cliffy Carter (Shirley), Fin Carter, Bert Carter, Marie Burke (Francis), Beatrice Burke (Rennie) and Mabel Carter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lin Carter (Dolly) and Melinda Fougere (Dan); her sister-in-law Doris Carter; and her nieces and nephews, Diane Larade (Paul), Louis (Helena), Vernon (Raymonde), Lonnie (Kelly), Julie MacDonald (Robert), Helen Stone (Junior), Karen Campbell (David), Cynthia Fougere (Lester), Timmy (Jenny), Jillian Poirier (Roy), Robert (Linda), Kelly (Joan) and Lorne (Tracie). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 2 great - great grandchildren.
