She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Malcolm Gillis MacLeod (Mack); her sons, Alexander of Estmere, Earl (Rose) and Kitchener; her grandson Austin; and her child Elsie.
Together, they all conjured up comforting dolls, teddy bears, slippers, hats and scarves for donation to Leeside Transition House, a women's and children's shelter, in Port Hawkesbury.
