Alice Elaine left this world on January 31, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Owens and Lillian Owens; her husband Martin of Soldier's Cove; her son Alvin; and her siblings, Michael, Lionel, Eddie and Margie.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Carolyn), Carol (Earl), Edward (Tracey), Rose (Donnie), Brenda, Martha (Sheldon), Patricia (Tyrone), Darlene, Gary (Nadine), Janice (Rod) and Stewart Kelly (Glenda); her siblings, Ann, Billy (Eva), Ethel, Gertrude (George), Joyce, Gregory, Paul, Marlene (Roy) and Vincent (Francine); and her siblings-in-law, Roddie and Joan. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (26 Centennial St, St. Peter's, NS B0E3B0). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dr Kingston Memorial Community Health Centre in L' Ardoise or the St.Peter's Parish (Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery Fund, Barra Head).
