He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Archie and Sarah MacInnis (Sadie Lamey); his siblings, John Dan, John Leo and Leo MacInnis; and his grandsons, Morgan MacIntyre and Logan MacIntyre.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca (MacNeil); and his children, Mary Pat Ellig (David), Margie Harrison (Roger), Cathy MacInnis (Michael), Murreen Simms (Joe), Dannie (Sheila), Donnie (Nancy), Cecilia Bell (Robert), Sandy (Brenda) and Mary Anne MacIntyre (Brian).
Donations in Alex Hughie's memory may be made to the Glendale Hall or Cemetery fund.
