Robert James MacKinnon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2024, Robert James MacKinnon of Port Hastings, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert James MacKinnon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine; his stepsons, Wilson and Joseph Smith; and his parents, Maude MacKinnon and Ian MacKinnon.

He is survived by: his cousins, Roy MacKinnon, Jane MacKinnon, Cheryl Smith Conway, Charlie, Jonathan, Laura Conway, Toronto, Kathy MacKinnon, Heather Smith, Andrew, Julia, Rob Tremayne, Halifax, Carol Ann MacKinnon and Ricardo Guerrero; and his stepdaughters, Bernice (George Legge), Marlene (Eric Jacobie), Wanda Smith (Jimmy), Cathy Smith (Diane Jardine) and Michelle (Ron Melanson).

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. David's United Church (7 Old Victoria Rd, Port Hastings, NS B9A1L2). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:15 PM to 3:40 PM.

The family would welcome donations in Robert's memory to St. David's United Church, the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre in Judique or a charity of your choice.
