He is survived by: his parents, Doris Carrigan and Ansel "Sonnie" Carrigan of Port Hastings; his wife Donna; his daughter Jessica (Jason); his siblings, Dawn (Rodney), Ottawa, Roger, Creignish Rear and Dale (Sherry); his nieces and nephews, Evan (Amanda), Tyler (Jillian), Amber, Chelsea and Ciarra; his great-nephew Caden; his great-niece Rose; his nephew Brennan; his niece Brooke; and also, Paula (Alex), Gerard (Terri), Mary (Shawn), Malcolm and Donald (Tanya).
Memorial donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
